Description

The Escaleruela via ferrata is located in the town of Cazorla next to the Escaleruela waterfall.

It is a via ferrata of about 250 m of unevenness that crosses the vertical rocky walls of the foothills of the Peña de los Halcones.

It is a fairly vertical route with a somewhat less inclined intermediate section. In addition, there is access to a rocky ledge (tooth) which, after going up and down it from the front, gives us access to the last wall of about 80 meters of unevenness. It also has a suspension bridge about 40 meters long and 80 meters high.

Before starting the ascent, we will practice using the carabiners on a smaller via ferrata so that you get used to handling them.

The guide will go first to help you in the sections that present a little difficulty so that you are safe at all times.

It is a medium level via ferrata K3 - K4 and with high level sports sections K6 (which are optional due to their high difficulty) in a very mountainous environment and with spectacular views of the town of Cazorla and the mountains that surround it.
